GENERAL AND RESTORATIVE DENTIST

Dr. Alice Ahn has a passion for biomimetic dentistry which is a philosophy of dentistry which prioritizes the conservation of natural tooth structure. This method of dentistry focuses on the preservation and restoration of the natural dental anatomy with materials mimicking natural tooth structure for optimal esthetics and function.

She was born and raised in the South Bay where she attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. She graduated from UC San Diego where she majored in Cognitive Neuroscience and minored in music, playing the violin in the La Jolla Symphony Orchestra for 2 years.

Dr. Ahn studied dentistry at the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California where she studied directly under world-renowned dental researcher and father of Biomimetic dentistry, Dr. Pascal Magne.

On the weekends, she regularly attends continuing education conferences where she learns about the latest advancements and technologies in dentistry. She is an active member of CDA and is working towards her fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a Pankey-trained dentist.

Dr. Ahn makes patient comfort a top priority and does her absolute best to make each visit as comfortable and as relaxing as possible and prides herself in spending time to give each patient the highest quality care possible.

In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling with her significant other, and spending time with her 2 year old greyhound, Chase.
